Pink Martini Time! Fans join Storm Large on stage for unforgettable Kravis Center show.

On the evening of March 3rd, the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts was transformed into something altogether magical which was part concert hall, part global nightclub, and a sparkling dream! Pink Martini brought their singular brand of multilingual, genre-defying exuberance to Palm Beach, and the audience was absolutely swept away from the first note to the last.

From the moment the band launched into the smoky, cinematic "Amado Mío," it was clear this was no ordinary evening. The Kravis Center felt electric. The band, a twelve-piece ensemble of consummate musicians, was absolutely on fire, delivering every song with the kind of tight, joyful precision that only comes from a group that genuinely loves what they do.

And then there was Storm Large. Magnificent, gorgeous, commanding, funny, and heart-stoppingly powerful, Storm owned that stage the way very few performers ever do. Her voice soared through "Hang on Little Tomato" with aching tenderness, then pivoted to explosive, roof-raising energy on the uptempo numbers. She charmed the audience with wit between songs and connected with everyone in the room as if she were performing in someone's living room rather than a grand concert hall. She was, in a word, phenomenal.

The stunningly beautiful Storm Large.

Pink Martini's setlist is also a passport for the senses. There renditions of "Sympathique," "Donde Estás Yolanda," "Una Notte a Napoli," the gorgeous Brazilian groove of "Tempo Perdido," and the beloved "Lilly" all land like a gift. The band moved effortlessly between French chanson, Latin rhythms, Japanese pop, and classic American standards without ever losing the thread of pure joy that ran through every moment.

But the moments that truly made the night unforgettable? Audience members were invited up on stage to sing along in an unforgettable moment. And just I thought this show couldn't get any more whimsical, a spontaneous, sprawling conga line snaked its way through the aisles of the Kravis Center. People were laughing, dancing, grabbing the shoulders of strangers, and grinning like children.

In all of Palm Beach's long and storied history of elegant evenings, it's hard to imagine a night that was ever quite this fun. Pink Martini didn't just perform. They threw the party of the year and I am forever thankful I got to experience it!
