Cirque du Soleil's 'Twas the Night Before… arrived at the Kravis Center Nov. 20 with the magic and wonder of a child opening gifts on Christmas morning. With a delicate soundtrack and plenty of spectactular stunts, this 85 minute show with no intermission is a sleigh ride of whimsy and bliss. Because there is no intermission, definitely purchase any drinks or snacks at the very beginning of the night especially if you have children with you. They offer some specialty hot chocolate drinks for this show in addition to the full cocktail bar, candies and other treats.

The show offers extraordinary physical artistry. Human towers defied gravity with impossible delicacy. Aerialists Sara Knauer and Roman Tomanov carved elegant arcs overhead. Emilia Dawiec transformed a lyra hoop into a whimsical hotel trolley. The roller-skating Medini duo generated genuine tension, while Alexane Leclerc's cycling mastery commanded rapt attention.

The evening's revelation belonged to diabolo artists Ho-Li Tsao, Pei-I Lin, Shao-Wei Hsiao, and Tzu-Yu Juan, whose hypnotic routine achieved perfect synchronization and showmanship, even incorporating dazzled audience members.
Ultimately, 'Twas the Night Before by Circque du Soleil … delivered a collection of inspiring moments that will delight audiences of all ages. I took my 7-year-old son Patrick to this performance and he loved every minute of it. The show reminded us why we gather for live performance—to witness human beings push beyond perceived limitations, to experience that visceral thrill only Circque du Soleil can bring.
The show runs through Nov. 30, 2025 at Kravis Center. Get your tickets here.
