The legendary bassist brought his "Get Ready 2025 Tour" to Miami Beach on June 14th, treating fans to a sprawling 32-track set that spanned the entire Joy Division and New Order discography. Hook and his band delivered deep cuts alongside classics, with David Potts taking lead vocals on several New Order tracks including "Bizarre Love Triangle" and "60 Miles an Hour." The evening's emotional peaks included a dedication of "Atmosphere" to Brian Wilson and "Love Vigilantes" to military service members, before closing with the timeless "Love Will Tear Us Apart." The outdoor venue provided the perfect backdrop for Hook's signature bass lines to resonate across the waterfront, proving once again why his interpretations of these seminal post-punk and electronic anthems remain essential live experiences.
