Cage the Elephant rolled into Hard Rock Live Hollywood, Florida on Sept. 18 like a tornado of controlled chaos. Matt Shultz emerged as part shaman, part maniac—channeling vintage Jagger swagger while contorting across the stage like he was exorcising demons through guitar feedback. The Kentucky quintet's 90-minute assault began with "Broken Boy" and never let up, weaving their latest "Neon Pill" material seamlessly into a catalog that spans nearly two decades of indie rock evolution. Soft Play and Girl Tones were supporting acts.
