The Lumineers transformed Hard Rock Live into an intimate revival tent on October 7, despite the venue's 7,000-capacity sprawl. Leading their Automatic World Tour through South Florida, Wesley Schultz and company delivered emotionally charged folk-rock that spanned their entire catalog.

From opener "Same Old Song" through deep cuts like "Angela" and "Plasticine," the band refused to distinguish between hits and album tracks. Guest Chance Peña elevated "Charlie Boy," while "Ho Hey" and "Ophelia" sparked the expected mass singalongs. But it was the quieter moments—"Dead Sea," the pharmaceutical confessional "Ativan"—that demonstrated real depth.

The setlist's surprises landed hardest: "Leader of the Landslide" cleverly interpolated the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want," while a Billy Joel cover showcased unexpected range. The closing duo of "Cleopatra" and "Stubborn Love" sent the crowd home buzzing.

After nearly two and a half hours, The Lumineers proved that earnest, acoustic-driven rock still resonates. They're not reinventing anything—just mastering what they've always done best.
