Queensrÿche brought their Volume & Vengeance tour to Fort Lauderdale's Culture Room on Nov. 29, 2025, delivering a masterclass in progressive metal that spanned their legendary catalog. The band opened with the blistering "Queen of the Reich," immediately establishing the evening's intensity, before diving into classics like "Walk in the Shadows" and "Breaking the Silence."
The setlist expertly balanced nostalgia with newer material, featuring tracks from recent albums like "Arrow of Time" and "NM 156" alongside beloved staples. Mid-set highlights included the emotionally charged "I Don't Believe in Love" and the soaring "Jet City Woman," both of which showcased the band's enduring vocal prowess and instrumental precision.
The evening's centerpiece was the powerful "Empire" trilogy, with "My Empty Room" and "Eyes of a Stranger" captivating the audience. The band saved their most theatrical moment for the encore, performing the complete "Operation: Mindcrime" opening sequence—"Neue Regel," "I Remember Now," "Anarchy-X," and "Revolution Calling"—which sent fans into a frenzy.
