Less Than Jake's Summer Circus 2025 tour rolled into Fort Lauderdale on June 9th, transforming Revolution Live into a sweaty, euphoric ska-punk paradise. The Florida legends opened with "Gainesville Rock City," immediately establishing their hometown pride and setting the tone for a relentless 22-song assault.
The setlist brilliantly balanced career-spanning favorites with deeper cuts, keeping both casual fans and die-hards engaged. Classics like "All My Best Friends Are Metalheads" and "Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts" sparked massive singalongs, while "Motown Never Sounded So Good" showcased the band's trademark horn-driven energy. The crowd went absolutely mental during "Animaniacs," proving that cartoon nostalgia and ska-punk remain a perfect match.
Mid-set highlights included the politically charged "Plastic Cup Politics" and the anthemic "History of a Boring Town," both delivered with the passion that's kept Less Than Jake relevant for decades. The two-song encore featuring "Last One Out of Liberty City" and "Al's War" left the audience drenched in sweat and desperate for more.
At 25+ years into their career, Less Than Jake proved they're still the kings of feel-good ska-punk, delivering pure joy through infectious melodies and unstoppable energy.
